We’d like to think that all our beds are relatively easy to put together, but a general rule of thumb is that our platform beds are quicker to assemble than a gas lift or drawer bed, as our storage beds are designed with more moving parts.

How much storage space can I expect under the gas lift mechanism?

The beauty of our gas lift beds is that almost 99% of the space underneath the mattress can be used for storage. Our gas lift beds do have a cross bar running across the left side to the right side panels for increased strength, so you will need to account for that when wanting to store larger items.

How durable are the gas lift struts?

Our gas lift struts are incredibly durable and have been tested in our factory to withstand years and years of opening and closing. We have noticed some cheaper versions on the market will run out of gas after a few years of usage. Our gas lift strut components come with an extended 10 year warranty - that's how confident we are in our gas lift mechanism!
